Procurement Assistant

Join our restaurant team as a Procurement Assistant and help ensure the smooth flow of supplies that keep our kitchen and front-of-house operations running efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing and purchasing food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock promptly.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Support stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to meet operational needs.
• Help identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement, inventory control, purchasing, or restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good numerical and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with inventory or procurement software is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
