Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a courteous, dependable, and attentive Parking Attendant to provide a welcoming first impression for guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, assisting people, and ensuring vehicles are handled with care while maintaining a safe and organized parking area.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with parking directions.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles when required.
• Monitor parking areas to maintain order and security.
• Direct traffic during busy periods and special events.
• Assist guests with luggage when appropriate.
• Report suspicious activities, accidents, or vehicle damage immediately.
• Keep parking facilities clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and issued parking tickets where applicable.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and vehicle handling guidelines.
• Provide guests with information about hotel entrances and facilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parking services, customer service, security, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Confident driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
