Pantry Chef
Job Description
A vibrant restaurant is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pantry Chef to bring freshness, precision, and creativity to our cold kitchen section. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys preparing salads, cold starters, dressings, and beautifully plated cold dishes that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, and hors d’oeuvres
- Maintain freshness and quality of all pantry ingredients
- Support plating and garnishing for service standards
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all cold kitchen items
- Keep the pantry section clean, organized, and hygienic at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or cold kitchen section
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Good eye for presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for culinary creativity and consistency
