Outlet Supervisor

Job Description

Our cafe is seeking a capable and service-focused Outlet Supervisor to oversee daily outlet operations and help deliver a consistently excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will coordinate staff activities, maintain service standards, monitor stock and sales, and ensure the cafe operates efficiently throughout each shift. We are looking for someone organised, dependable, and confident in leading a team within a fast-paced cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cafe operations and coordinate staff during assigned shifts.
• Allocate duties, monitor team performance, and provide guidance when needed.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Monitor food and beverage presentation, quality, and service standards.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally.
• Track stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the cafe.
• Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and daily operational records.
• Support staff training, onboarding, and continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed consistently.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Food Service Management, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a cafe, restaurant, or similar service environment.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of customer service and food safety practices.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage competing priorities during busy shifts.
• Comfortable handling cash, basic sales records, and inventory procedures.
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic computer and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
