Order Taker

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Order Taker to join our cozy coffee shop team. If you enjoy working in a lively environment where great coffee and great conversations come together, this role might be a perfect fit. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them place orders smoothly, accurately, and with a warm smile. You’ll also support the team in ensuring every guest enjoys a pleasant and seamless café experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Input orders into the POS system and confirm details with customers
• Handle basic inquiries about menu items and specials
• Ensure clear communication with baristas and kitchen staff
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized counter area
• Process payments when required and issue receipts
• Provide quick, polite, and helpful service during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or a café setting is an advantage
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail
• Team spirit and a positive work ethic
