Operations Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee daily activities, drive operational excellence, and ensure every department works together to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently maintained.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse performance metrics.
• Manage budgets, control operational costs, and optimise resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate managers and team members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management to achieve business goals and enhance profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Hotel Manager, or in a similar leadership role within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
• Strong financial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve complex operational challenges.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
