Mixologist

Job Description

Our bar is seeking a talented and creative Mixologist to join our service team. We are looking for someone who combines technical cocktail knowledge with flair, precision, and excellent guest interaction. The successful candidate will help create memorable drinks, maintain high service standards, and contribute to an energetic bar environment where quality and consistency matter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop creative drinks and suggest new cocktail ideas for the menu.
• Engage with guests, understand their preferences, and provide personalised recommendations.
• Maintain an organised, clean, and well-stocked bar station throughout service.
• Measure and handle spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other ingredients accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the bar manager.
• Follow responsible alcohol service, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work closely with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or in a comparable bar role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Professional cocktail preparation or mixology training is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Creativity and a strong eye for presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage hygiene and responsible alcohol service.
