Mixologist

Our bar is seeking a creative and skilled Mixologist to join our team and bring energy, precision, and originality to every service. We are looking for someone who understands the art of cocktail preparation, enjoys engaging with guests, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptional bar experience. The successful candidate will contribute fresh ideas to the drinks menu while ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation, and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop innovative drinks and seasonal cocktail concepts.
• Welcome guests, explain drink selections, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Maintain an organised, clean, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
• Handle bar equipment, glassware, and ingredients safely and efficiently.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and applicable safety standards.
• Collaborate with bartenders and other bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, garnishing, and presentation.
• Assist with menu development, tastings, and special bar events when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or in a comparable bar role.
• Professional training or certification in mixology, bartending, or beverage service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, liqueurs, bitters, syrups, and garnishing techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage safety standards.
• Creativity and attention to detail in cocktail preparation and presentation.
• Ability to remain composed and efficient during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork skills and a professional approach to guest service.
