Mixologist

Job Description

Our bar is looking for a creative and knowledgeable Mixologist to join the team and bring energy, precision, and originality to every service. The successful candidate will be confident behind the bar, passionate about cocktails, and committed to creating memorable drinks while maintaining excellent service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Create and develop new cocktails using seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
• Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Maintain accurate measurements and consistent drink quality throughout service.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, infusions, and other cocktail ingredients.
• Keep the bar area, equipment, and workstations clean and organised.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the bar manager.
• Follow responsible serving practices and applicable bar safety procedures.
• Maintain proper glassware, tools, and cocktail equipment.
• Work effectively with bartenders, servers, and other bar staff during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or in a similar bar role.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology, spirits, wines, and other beverages.
• Excellent understanding of cocktail preparation techniques and presentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain organised and composed during busy service periods.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, cleanliness, and safe beverage handling practices.
• Creativity and willingness to experiment with new flavours and techniques.
• Beverage or mixology certification is an advantage.
