Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead, coach, and motivate front and back of house teams
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
• Develop staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of supplies
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Track sales performance and prepare operational reports
• Collaborate with kitchen leadership to improve service quality and operational efficiency
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
• Drive revenue growth through excellent service and operational improvements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar management role within a restaurant
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and service standards
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, and labour costs
• Ability to analyse reports and make informed business decisions
• Proficiency in restaurant management and point of sale systems
• Strong organisational and problem solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast paced environment
