A well-established hotel is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities operating safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring guests and team members enjoy a comfortable environment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Repair fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, locks, and furniture as needed.
• Monitor the condition of generators, pumps, lighting systems, and other essential equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Keep tools, maintenance areas, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Building Maintenance Technician, or in a similar maintenance role.
• Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Ability to use maintenance tools, testing equipment, and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and perform maintenance tasks safely.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field is an advantage.
