Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to ensure the property’s facilities, equipment, and guest areas remain in excellent condition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment servicing.
• Assist with room renovations and minor carpentry work when required.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma, or vocational training in Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance, building services, or a similar role preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
