Maintenance Manager

Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth operation of all building systems and ensure guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and fully functional environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance technical expertise with strong coordination and team management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate external contractors when required
• Respond promptly to urgent repair issues and ensure swift resolution
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulations
• Manage maintenance budgets, supplies, and inventory of spare parts
• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify repair needs
• Keep accurate maintenance records and prepare operational reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably within hospitality
• Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise a technical team effectively
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards in a hotel environment
• Hands-on technical skills and willingness to be actively involved in repairs when needed
