Maintenance Manager

Job Description

A well-run hotel depends on smooth operations behind the scenes, and that’s where you come in. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee all repair, upkeep, and technical operations within a busy hospitality environment. You will ensure everything from guest rooms to electrical systems runs safely, efficiently, and at a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations across the hotel facility
• Supervise repair work for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs early
• Manage maintenance schedules, preventive servicing, and emergency repairs
• Coordinate and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel operational policies
• Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory levels
• Respond quickly to guest or management maintenance requests
• Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and equipment performance
• Support renovation or upgrade projects when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility or hotel maintenance supervision
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and general repairs
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent issues
• Knowledge of safety practices and preventive maintenance systems
• Hands-on experience in maintenance work is highly valued
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in operations
