We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced culinary environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, precision, and creating memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Manage assigned kitchen stations while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency during service.
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, portioning, seasoning, and ingredient organization.
• Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet taste, appearance, and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate ingredient shortages to supervisors.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support menu changes, special requests, and other kitchen duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Line Cook, Cook, or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion control standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Culinary training or relevant hospitality experience is an advantage.
