Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Line Cook to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and served promptly during busy shifts.
• Monitor ingredient quality and notify supervisors of stock shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO principles.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support menu preparation and special orders as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Culinary training or a relevant food preparation certification is an advantage.
