Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a vigilant and customer-focused Lifeguard to oversee the safety of guests using the hotel pool. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, confident in emergency situations, and committed to maintaining a secure, clean, and enjoyable swimming environment. Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities in and around the hotel pool.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations at all times.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and provide lifesaving assistance when required.
• Administer first aid and CPR until additional medical help arrives.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and report safety hazards immediately.
• Monitor water conditions and ensure pool equipment is functioning properly.
• Keep rescue and first aid equipment clean, accessible, and ready for use.
• Assist with opening and closing pool procedures.
• Provide courteous assistance and information to guests regarding pool facilities.
• Maintain accurate incident, maintenance, and daily activity records.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard certification from a recognized training organization.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility is an advantage.
• Strong swimming and water rescue skills.
• Excellent observation and quick decision-making abilities.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and teamwork.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.
