Job Description

We are looking for a calm, alert, and safety-focused Lifeguard to join our hotel team and oversee activities at our swimming pool. This role is all about ensuring guests enjoy a safe and relaxing experience while maintaining a welcoming poolside environment. You’ll be the first line of safety for swimmers, keeping a close watch on pool activity, responding quickly in emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness and order around the pool area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety at all times
• Enforce pool rules in a polite and professional manner
• Respond immediately to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
• Carry out regular pool safety checks and report hazards
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the poolside area
• Assist guests with inquiries and basic pool-related guidance
• Support daily opening and closing safety routines

Qualifications

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized training body
• Basic first aid and CPR certification
• Strong swimming ability and water rescue skills
• Good observation skills and quick decision-making ability
• Calm temperament, especially in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a hotel or recreational facility is an advantage
