Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the laundry team to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and fabric care.
• Schedule staff shifts and allocate duties to meet operational demands.
• Inspect finished laundry to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Ensure laundry equipment is operated safely and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and coordinate replenishment when needed.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to improve performance and productivity.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping department to meet linen and uniform requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising laundry operations in a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial laundry processes, equipment, and fabric care techniques.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
