A well-established hotel is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and garment care. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys leading a team and maintaining efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the hotel laundry department.
• Assign duties and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure proper washing, drying, ironing, and folding procedures.
• Inspect linens, uniforms, and guest laundry for quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and equipment.
• Train and mentor laundry attendants on best practices.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding linen requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Report equipment faults and arrange maintenance when necessary.
• Prepare schedules and maintain operational records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel laundry operation, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of fabric care, laundry chemicals, and commercial laundry equipment.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
