About the Role

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for washing, drying, pressing, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. You will ensure that all items are handled with care, meet quality standards, and are ready for timely distribution throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues
Follow proper handling procedures for different fabric types
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Replenish laundry supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low
Ensure laundry machines and equipment are cleaned after use
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with inventory counts of linens and uniforms
Work closely with the housekeeping team to meet daily operational needs

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel laundry, commercial laundry, or a similar role is an advantage
Ability to operate laundry and pressing equipment safely
Good understanding of fabric care and stain removal techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift laundry loads when required
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, hardworking, and dependable
Good communication and teamwork skills
