In a busy hotel environment where presentation and freshness matter every single day, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in ensuring that all linens, towels, and guest garments are cleaned, pressed, and delivered to the highest standard of hygiene and care. You will be part of the behind-the-scenes team that keeps everything running smoothly and ensures guests always experience crisp, clean comfort during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Collect used linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry from designated areas
• Sort items by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely
• Apply correct detergents and stain removal techniques
• Inspect items for damage and report issues when necessary
• Fold, iron, and package clean laundry neatly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow hotel hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Keep accurate records of laundry items received and processed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry, housekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage
• Basic understanding of fabric care and stain treatment
• Ability to operate laundry machines and pressing equipment (training can be provided)
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle laundry loads
• Honest, reliable, and punctual work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
