Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages to established standards.
• Create consistent and visually impressive latte art designs on every drink.
• Texture and steam milk to achieve optimal quality for latte art.
• Maintain espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment in excellent condition.
• Monitor coffee quality and adjust grinder settings throughout service.
• Assist customers with beverage recommendations and answer coffee-related questions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area.
• Support inventory checks and report low stock levels.
• Train and mentor team members on milk steaming and latte art techniques.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preparing specialty coffee in a coffee shop.
• Demonstrated ability to produce a variety of latte art patterns consistently.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing techniques.
• Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Friendly communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and maintain high performance standards.
