Our coffee shop is dedicated to serving expertly prepared coffee in a welcoming, creative, and customer-focused environment. We value precision, presentation, consistency, and the artistry behind every cup. We are looking for a talented Latte Art Specialist who can transform expertly steamed milk and quality espresso into beautifully presented drinks while maintaining excellent service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based beverages with consistent quality and attention to detail.
• Create attractive latte art designs using professional milk-texturing techniques.
• Steam and texture milk to achieve the correct temperature, consistency, and microfoam.
• Maintain high standards for beverage presentation and portion control.
• Operate and care for espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and other coffee equipment.
• Develop and practise new latte art patterns and presentation techniques.
• Assist customers with coffee selections and explain preparation methods when requested.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic coffee preparation area.
• Monitor coffee quality and adjust grinding, dosing, and extraction settings when necessary.
• Support other coffee shop team members during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Professional training or certification in barista skills, specialty coffee, or a related field.
• Proven experience creating latte art in a coffee shop or specialty coffee environment.
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
• Excellent hand control, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Creative approach with the ability to develop distinctive latte art designs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, accurate, and efficient during busy periods.
• Passion for specialty coffee and continuous improvement.
• Previous experience in a high-volume coffee shop is an advantage.
