In a busy and vibrant restaurant where every service matters, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to keep our kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and supporting a fast-paced culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly and properly
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks when needed
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling guidelines are followed
• Keep storage areas tidy, organized, and hygienic
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies safely
• Follow all health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is an advantage but not required
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle manual tasks
• Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude
• Willingness to learn and take instructions from senior kitchen staff
