Our restaurant is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, storage rooms, and kitchen floors.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials as required.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Help maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment.
• Carry out additional cleaning and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar kitchen support role is an advantage but not essential.
• Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
