Kitchen Porter

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and help keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of teamwork in a busy restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
• Ensure waste is properly disposed of and recycling guidelines are followed
• Keep kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas clean and organized
• Support smooth daily kitchen operations during service hours
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages or equipment issues

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is an advantage but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Good understanding of basic hygiene and food safety practices
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
