A busy and welcoming restaurant is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team. This role is essential in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in cleanliness and teamwork, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking tools promptly and properly
• Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks when required
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and hygiene standards are followed
• Support general kitchen organization and stock movement
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report any broken equipment or safety issues immediately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is an advantage but not required
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
