Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve outstanding performance.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards.
• Develop staff schedules and oversee shift planning.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Monitor kitchen expenses and work to control food and labor costs.
• Train new team members and support ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service.
• Resolve operational challenges quickly while maintaining excellent standards.
• Inspect kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with staff training, coaching, and performance management.
• Passion for delivering exceptional food quality and operational excellence.
