Key Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools promptly.
• Receive, unpack, and organize food deliveries according to storage guidelines.
• Properly store ingredients while following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in line with sanitation procedures.
• Refill kitchen supplies and notify supervisors when stock is running low.
• Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Carry out other kitchen support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
