IT Support Officer

Technology plays a vital role in delivering outstanding guest experiences, and we are looking for a skilled IT Support Officer to keep our hotel’s systems operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to hotel employees across all departments.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, networks, and peripheral devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain hotel property management systems, POS systems, and other operational applications.
• Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with user account creation, password management, and access control.
• Respond promptly to IT support requests and document resolutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing and technical support when required.
• Support cybersecurity practices by maintaining antivirus software and enforcing IT policies.
• Keep accurate inventory records of IT equipment and recommend replacement or upgrades when necessary.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, or systems administration role; hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and computer hardware.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems, POS platforms, or hospitality software is desirable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, email systems, and basic cybersecurity principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
