Inventory Officer

Job Description

We are looking for an Inventory Officer to join our bar and play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for beverages, ingredients, supplies, and operating materials.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries to ensure quality and quantity match purchase orders.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with inventory records.
• Identify stock discrepancies, investigate variances, and prepare inventory reports.
• Coordinate with management to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Monitor product expiry dates and implement stock rotation procedures.
• Maintain organized storage areas that support efficient stock handling.
• Work closely with purchasing and bar teams to forecast inventory needs.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Assist in reducing losses through effective stock management and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Inventory Officer, Storekeeper, Stock Controller, or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or related environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures, inventory auditing, and purchasing processes.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
