Inventory Controller

Job Description

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Our restaurant is looking for an Inventory Controller to join our team and ensure our kitchen and stock operations are always in top shape.

Responsibilities:

• Track and manage all incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

• Collaborate with chefs and suppliers to forecast needs and prevent shortages.

• Maintain accurate records of food, beverages, and supplies.

• Monitor inventory usage to reduce waste and control costs.

• Assist in preparing reports for management regarding stock trends and purchasing.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient with inventory management software or spreadsheets.

• Basic understanding of food and beverage operations in a restaurant.

• Good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and suppliers.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
