Inventory Controller

Job Description

A busy and fast-paced bar is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join the team. If you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring stock levels are always accurate, this could be a great opportunity for you. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing inventory, reducing waste, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for beverages, bar supplies, and operational materials.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Track incoming deliveries and verify quantities received.
• Identify discrepancies, losses, and wastage, and report findings promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding stock requirements.
• Ensure proper storage practices and stock rotation procedures.
• Assist management with forecasting inventory needs and purchasing plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of beverage inventory management is an advantage.
