Inventory Controller

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Controller to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing stock levels, ensuring accurate records, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all food, beverages, and supplies
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Track stock movement including deliveries, usage, and wastage
• Work closely with kitchen and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs
• Ensure proper storage and handling of items to minimize spoilage and loss
• Prepare inventory reports and provide insights on stock trends
• Assist in identifying and preventing stock shortages or overstocking
• Support compliance with internal inventory control procedures

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Previous experience in inventory control, storekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage
• Good numerical and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets or inventory systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Honest, reliable, and accountable with a strong sense of responsibility
