Inventory Controller

A busy restaurant is looking for an organized and dependable Inventory Controller to help keep our kitchen and bar running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, keeping track of stock, and making sure supplies are always available when the team needs them. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Record stock deliveries and update inventory records promptly
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies
• Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to forecast supply needs
• Ensure proper storage practices and stock rotation
• Prepare inventory reports and highlight shortages or overstock situations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory, storekeeping, or stock control within a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Comfortable using spreadsheets or basic inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
