Inventory Clerk

Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-focused and reliable Inventory Clerk to help keep our café running smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy staying organized, working with numbers, and making sure nothing runs out at the wrong time, this role fits right into your lane. This position plays a key part in ensuring our shelves, storage areas, and supply records are always accurate so the team on the floor can focus on serving great food and drinks.

Responsibilities

• Track daily inventory levels of food, beverages, and café supplies
• Record stock deliveries and update inventory logs accurately
• Monitor usage trends and flag items that need reordering
• Assist with monthly stock counts and reconciliation reports
• Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and properly labelled
• Work closely with kitchen and procurement teams to prevent shortages
• Report discrepancies or missing items promptly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control, storekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical accuracy
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and stock tracking systems
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Honest, dependable, and able to handle responsibility with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members
