Job Description

A well established hotel is seeking an experienced and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the property. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys leading by example, ensuring guest satisfaction, and creating a welcoming environment through excellent housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Assign duties, prepare work schedules, and monitor staff productivity.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members.
• Ensure cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment are properly stocked and maintained.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
• Assist with inventory management and control of housekeeping supplies.
• Prepare daily housekeeping reports and communicate operational updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications for reporting and scheduling is an advantage.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
