Housekeeper

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain high standards across guest rooms and public areas. If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to established hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned public areas.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, well presented, and ready for guests.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost and found property promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain cleaning supplies.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Work closely with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional in appearance and conduct.
