Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to help maintain exceptional cleanliness and comfort throughout the property. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating welcoming guest spaces, works efficiently, and is committed to maintaining high standards every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas thoroughly.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they are clean, well-presented, and ready for guests.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and work closely with other hotel departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, or a similar role in a hotel is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout scheduled shifts.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
