Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a dedicated and organised Hotel Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and help deliver excellent guest experiences. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who can coordinate departments, maintain high service standards, and ensure the hotel operates efficiently every day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support, guide, and motivate team members to maintain exceptional service standards.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedules and operational priorities.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and operational facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
• Work closely with department supervisors to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management.
• Help manage inventory, supplies, and operational resources effectively.
• Respond promptly to operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Promote a positive, professional, and guest-focused working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations, front office, housekeeping, or a supervisory position.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of hotel operational procedures and guest service standards.
• Familiarity with property management systems and standard office software is an advantage.
• Professional appearance with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
