Job Description

A leadership role for someone who can keep a hotel running like a well-tuned orchestra, balancing guest satisfaction, team coordination, and operational excellence across every department. This position oversees daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, consistent quality standards, and a welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure. You’ll guide teams, manage budgets, and shape service culture while keeping an eye on both detail and big-picture performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct overall hotel operations, ensuring efficiency across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance units
  • Lead, train, and motivate departmental teams to deliver high service standards
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond effectively to feedback and service issues
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to maintain service quality and inventory flow
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations
  • Implement service policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare performance reports and present operational insights to senior leadership
  • Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and resolution-focused action

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Several years of progressive experience in hotel or hospitality operations, including supervisory or management roles
  • Strong understanding of hotel systems, guest service standards, and operational workflows
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Financial awareness with experience managing budgets or departmental costs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and digital booking systems is an advantage
