Our cafe is looking for a friendly, organised, and personable Hostess to create a welcoming first impression for every guest. The successful candidate will manage guest arrivals, coordinate seating, assist with reservations, and help maintain a smooth flow throughout the cafe. Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage arrivals and seating arrangements.
• Maintain accurate reservation and waiting lists.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate with service staff.
• Respond courteously to guest enquiries and requests.
• Keep the entrance and reception area organised and presentable.
• Assist the team during busy periods to maintain efficient service.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, server, or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, friendly, and confident personality.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Good knowledge of customer service practices.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced cafe.
• Neat and professional appearance.
