This is more than a greeting role. It is about creating flow, comfort, and connection in a lively cafe environment where every guest should feel seen and valued.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Manage seating arrangements to ensure smooth table turnover
• Maintain an organized waiting list during busy hours
• Answer guest questions about menu items and daily specials
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow
• Ensure the entrance and reception area remain clean and inviting
• Assist in handling guest complaints calmly and professionally when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or food service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm and composed under busy or high-pressure situations
• Good sense of organization and time management
• Presentable appearance with a warm and approachable personality
• Basic understanding of cafe operations is an advantage
