Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and attentive Host to join our cafe team. In this role, you will greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and help create a pleasant dining experience from the moment customers arrive. If you have excellent people skills and enjoy working in a lively cafe environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Greet and seat customers promptly according to table availability.
• Manage waiting lists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Answer customer enquiries about the cafe, menu, and services.
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover.
• Keep the entrance and waiting area clean, tidy, and inviting.
• Handle reservations and update seating arrangements as needed.
• Assist with customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Thank guests as they leave and encourage return visits.
• Support other team members during busy service periods when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer-facing role within a cafe, restaurant, or similar setting is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and professional appearance.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous during busy periods.
• Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
