Job Description

Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional guest service and team leadership? We are seeking a confident and service-oriented Head Waiter to oversee front-of-house dining operations, support the restaurant management team, and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the waitstaff.
• Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor table service, food presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely order delivery.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and task delegation.
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Monitor inventory of service supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
• Support management in achieving sales targets and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or in a restaurant supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of restaurant service procedures, food safety, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
