Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and personable Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team in a busy cafe environment. The ideal candidate is service-driven, organized, and confident in managing both guests and team members to ensure a smooth and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff during service
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained
• Greet and interact with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally
• Train, guide, and support team members to deliver efficient service
• Oversee table setup, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the dining area
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow
• Monitor service timing to ensure orders are delivered promptly
• Assist in handling payments and ensuring accuracy where required
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar front-of-house or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
