Head Waiter

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and attentive Head Waiter to lead the front-of-house team in our cafe. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, keeping service running smoothly, and ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support waitstaff during daily operations
• Ensure high standards of service are consistently maintained
• Greet and assist guests, handling seating arrangements efficiently
• Coordinate orders between the front-of-house and kitchen team
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Train and guide new and existing team members
• Monitor table turnover and overall service flow
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and organization of the dining area
• Assist in scheduling and shift coordination when required

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a waiter or supervisory role within a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods
• Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and professional attitude
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed
