Head of Café Concept Innovation & Specialty Beverage Strategy – Dubai, UAE

Role Overview

A progressive, design-led café collective in Dubai is recruiting a Head of Café Concept Innovation to spearhead next-generation café experiences blending specialty coffee, lifestyle branding, and experiential retail.

This is a visionary role focused on crafting café ecosystems that function as social hubs, digital workspaces, and premium beverage destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development & Brand Positioning

• Develop unique café concepts tailored to Dubai’s multicultural and high-spending demographic
• Translate global café trends into locally resonant experiences
• Define brand storytelling, interior identity, and menu philosophy

Specialty Beverage Strategy

• Curate advanced coffee programs (single-origin sourcing, roasting profiles, brew methods)
• Introduce signature beverage innovations (nitro, molecular coffee, functional drinks)
• Establish quality control frameworks for consistency across outlets

Customer Experience & Commercialization

• Design hybrid service models (fast-casual + premium lounge experience)
• Drive revenue through retail coffee products, subscriptions, and loyalty programs
• Implement digital ordering, app-based engagement, and contactless experiences

Operational Scaling

• Build SOPs for multi-location scalability across the UAE and GCC
• Train baristas to international specialty coffee standards (SCA-aligned)
• Oversee supplier relationships and procurement optimization

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years in specialty coffee or premium café operations
• Deep understanding of global coffee markets and brewing science
• Strong creative direction capability with commercial awareness
• Experience launching or scaling café brands is highly advantageous
