Head of Café Concept

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and forward-thinking leader to shape and elevate the identity of a growing café brand. This role is ideal for someone who sees cafés as more than just places to eat and drink, but as experiences that connect people, design, flavour, and culture.

You will be responsible for defining the overall café concept, guiding menu direction, refining customer experience, and working closely with operations and creative teams to bring a strong, consistent vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the café’s core concept, ensuring it stays fresh, relevant, and distinctive
• Lead menu innovation in collaboration with culinary teams, balancing creativity with commercial performance
• Shape the guest experience from entry to exit, including service style, atmosphere, and brand feel
• Work with designers and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive visual and storytelling identity
• Monitor trends in food, beverage, and hospitality to inspire new ideas and improvements
• Oversee concept consistency across all touchpoints, both physical and digital
• Support training and guidance to ensure staff understand and deliver the concept effectively

Qualifications

• Strong background in hospitality, café culture, or food and beverage concept development
• Proven experience in shaping or leading creative hospitality projects or brand experiences
• Excellent understanding of customer experience design and service flow
• Ability to translate creative ideas into practical, profitable operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach
• A natural eye for detail, atmosphere, and storytelling within hospitality spaces
• Passion for food culture, innovation, and building memorable guest experiences
